YES please!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I LOVE sneaking good stuff into my kids food. If your kids are anything like mine, you know how hard it is to feed picky eaters. Especially when you have two who like totally different foods! (sometimes I think they pick the opposite just so they can be different from each other.)<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite things to cook with is <a href=\"https:\/\/waterways.myshaklee.com\/us\/en\/shop\/healthyfoundations\/protein\/product-_p_instant-proteinsupsup-soy-mixp\">Shaklee&#8217;s Instant protein powder<\/a>. This was the original first protein ever! The one that Dr. Shaklee himself invented.\u00a0It&#8217;s really great quality and a complete protein that your kids won&#8217;t know is there! Good protein is important as it&#8217;s the building block of all cells in the body. It&#8217;s important for people in general to get but especially kids as they are growing so rapidly. I add this protein to things all of the time. From soups to thicken them, sauces to bake with, smoothies, to baked goods like muffins, cookies and PANCAKES! It doesn&#8217;t have any flavor (or sugar) so works well in many recipes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4051.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2823\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4051-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4051\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4051-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4051.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today I made some delicious pancakes that my kids asked for seconds. I have taken a few favorite recipes over the years and created this one from parts I like. \u00a0I substitute some of the flour with the <a href=\"https:\/\/waterways.myshaklee.com\/us\/en\/shop\/healthyfoundations\/protein\/product-_p_instant-proteinsupsup-soy-mixp\">Instant Protein powder<\/a>, which is also Gluten Free. It is made to withstand high heat, so it doesn&#8217;t lose any of the good stuff when you heat it up!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2824\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4053-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4053\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4053-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.waterwayshealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_4053.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Protein Pancake Recipe:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">.5 to 1 cup <a href=\"https:\/\/waterways.myshaklee.com\/us\/en\/shop\/healthyfoundations\/protein\/product-_p_instant-proteinsupsup-soy-mixp\">Shaklee Instant protein Powder<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1.5 cups flour<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">3 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">3 TBS butter<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1.5-2 cups milk (I use almond)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">approx. 1 TBS raw honey<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1 tsp real maple syrup<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1 TBS chia seeds (optional but they add a lot of nutrition and fiber)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1 tsp vinegar (I use apple cider)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1 egg slightly beaten<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Mix milk and vinegar to &#8220;sour&#8221; and set aside<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Melt butter and set aside<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In large bowl, stir together dry ingredients<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Add egg, butter and milk mixture<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Blend well<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Pour mix on hot greased pan approx. 1\/2 to 1 cup at a time for desired size pancakes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Flip after edges look done<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Add to plate and enjoy!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Let me know if you try this and what you think about it!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And don&#8217;t forget that Today (8-10-15) is the very last day to take advantage of the Awesome <a href=\"https:\/\/waterways.myshaklee.com\/us\/en\/join-options\">Shaklee Distributor specials<\/a> where you will get so much great product and free shipping from me!
