My family and I recently took a weekend trip to St. Louis and had a blast! Our boys participated in a Tae Kwon Do tournament there with Team Ra. 12 kids went from our team and everyone did such a great job! We also had a little time to visit the zoo (it’s wonderful and FREE – highly recommend. Tip: park on the street – it’s free!) We also went to Mass at the Basilica Cathedral which was so beautiful and HUGE! I highly recommend both sites if you visit St. Louis. And so much more there too that we will have to save for our next trip. Oh, and we stopped at Lambert’s Cafe on the way home. A MUST if you are anywhere near Sikeston, MO. But be sure to have cash and watch out for the flying rolls! Here are some of the picture highlights of our trip.
Stretching at the team meeting the night before the tournament
Benjamin getting ready to go….with Coach Colby near by. 🙂
Andrew lined up (on the far left) and ready to go!
Some of the team after….after this we had a fun team dinner at California Pizza kitchen!
Practicing with Coach Rowan before we headed to St. Louis
Andrew got a Bronze!
Benjamin got a silver!
This was their second tournament. Their first was in Atlanta in December. They did a great job and we are really proud of them. David is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and helped coach and also did a great job! 🙂
What’s your favorite thing to do in St. Louis?
