If you have been following my (former) blog, you know that I have known about Shaklee literally, all of my life. My mom took Shaklee supplements while pregnant with me! So I grew up with it. But got away from it in college. And then rediscovered Shaklee when I was looking for non-toxic cleaners after having our first son, Andrew.
My Shaklee business started as a hobby in 2010 after the products helped me to rebuild my health after having our second son, Benjamin at 34 weeks and Shaklee also helped us to help Benjamin stay healthy and asthma-free. I couldn’t keep the products to myself And in 2012 I decided to step it up and redirect my time into a business. I liked it because I could do it from home, around my family schedule and could stay home with my kids but still contribute to our income while helping other families get healthier and build income. I grew my business while living in Indiana. But since moving to Mississippi, had not really spread the word about Shaklee, or done an official business launch – until last week!
I never remember to get in any pictures at my events! This one was taken earlier in the day – not too dressed up yet. 🙂
The event was a lot of fun. We chose an Italian theme because Shaklee just announced the big incentive trip is to ITALY! Total bucket list trip for me so I wanted to share it with people who came to the event since anyone can earn this. You can see why I chose this fun theme in this quick video

And we had a few different Italian wines to choose from. Thanks to my friend Tanya who brought this over for the celebration! It was delicious.
We had a lot of fun specials and prizes and everyone had a fun time.
I was so glad to share Shaklee with some new people. I don’t always do all of this for my meetings. Usually they are pretty casual but I wanted to share in a bigger way to kick off the new incentive year! My husband, who is a professor and research scientist in natural products, shared a bit about what drew him to Shaklee 5 years ago. So he was impressed by the high quality standards the company stands by and has been for almost 60 years now!
